For the past 13 years Magnet has been exhibiting the work of a local Gay or Queer artist once a month. We have worked with local artists, national artists, and international artists that are important parts of the Gay/Queer Communities. For the month of May we are very excited to be exhibiting a new collection from the artist Nathan Rapport!
The Art Opening starts at 8 PM sharp, and will go till 10 PM. Free drinks and light snacks will be provided.
Please contact our Community Organizer Baruch Porras Hernandez at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions. Don’t forget to RSVP on Facebook!
More about the Artist:
Nathan Rapport is a California based multimedia artist working and showing in galleries and alternative creative spaces across North America. Nathan works as a painter, illustrator, designer, performer, director, and creates scenic work for a number of producing theatres in San Francisco and Austin. In October 2015, Nathan released his queer adult coloring book “Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me”, receiving tremendous visibility and press for the project. In 2016, he launched a queer focused line of wearables and fine art, and continues to nurture this project. Currently Nathan lives in Los Angeles, and works full time creating visibly queer, sex positive art.
