For the month of December the Strut Book Club will read “Faggots” by Larry Kramer.

Join us at 7:30 PM on the Second Floor of Strut for some wine, little snacks and great conversations about literature.
Please make sure to read the book before hand and come ready to discuss your thoughts. Don’t forget folks, we get a discount at Dog Eared Books in the Castro!
If you have not read the book, it is okay to come and sit and listen to the conversation. But be warned we do talk about the ending.

About the Book
Larry Kramer’s Faggots has been in print since its original publication in 1978 and has become one of the best-selling novels about gay life ever written. The book is a fierce satire of the gay ghetto and a touching story of one man’s desperate search for love there, and reading it today is a fascinating look at how much, and how little, has changed.

About the Author
Larry Kramer is an American playwright, author, public health advocate, and LGBT rights activist. He began his career rewriting scripts while working for Columbia Pictures, which led him to London where he worked with United Artists.
